Erika Long is a dedicated community advocate and lifelong supporter of strong families, transparent leadership, and forward-thinking growth in Long Beach, Mississippi. A proud longtime resident, Erika has committed herself to uplifting her community through action, service, and accountability.
Her leadership journey began through active involvement in local education, where she currently serves as PTO President and has been honored as the 2023–2024 Long Beach School District Parent of the Year.
In 2025, Erika ran for Alderman in Ward 3, driven by a platform focused on harbor redevelopment, responsible growth, and family-centered infrastructure. Though she did not win, she continues to show up--attending city meetings, organizing neighborhood cleanups, supporting small businesses, and advocating for thoughtful policy on issues such as homelessness, economic development, and public safety.
With a professional background in business management and hospitality, Erika brings a unique perspective that balances operational knowledge with real-world compassion.
Erika is also a member of the Harrison County Republican Club Executive Committee, where she works to build bridges between civic involvement and conservative values, always with a focus on local impact.
From the classroom to city hall, Erika believes in showing up, speaking out, and working hard to build a Long Beach that reflects the values and needs of the people who call it home.
